Just another pretty flower picture. Big trumpet flower, about 8-inches long, picked out of the garden, placed upright in a glass on my kitchen table in front of a window, then shot as close as I could get with my macro. Tried to keep the entire 8" length in focus, then played around with curves, contrast and hue/sat sliders in Lightroom, then some noise ninja and USM in Elements. There are some definite halos here, but I don't think they detract from the image.
Couldn't tell whether that spot in the lower right was sensor dust or on the flower, so I decided to just leave it be. There were a couple other smaller spots that I would have liked to clone out as well.

You know what would have been a great title for this? Wormhole. A perfect image - excellant color and DOF control, excellant detail - all around a great image - I'm jealous I didn't think of it.
