 1 second exposure of smoke. Not real original to dpc but I had fun with this. Side lit with colored gel over 580 flash unit with sync cord. Camera on tripod.
Cropped, rotated, noise reduction.

This looks a tad grainy but I really enjoy the fluidity of all the curves. The twisting purple against the black backdrop is really pretty neat.

Okay smoke is cliche now, but the 1 second rule gave you room to explore further. I like the result.
