Well, if a lottery ticket isn't bought and played on the strength of hope alone, I don't know what is. A Cash for Life scratch card, where you can (supposedly) win $1000 a week for the rest of your life. I always get a kick out of the smug 'Good Luck' in the Extra box, though sometimes it is indeed a small sum. It's sitting on top of my lightbox and shot with sunlight coming in through the skylight.
