Aw, he's protecting all his paraphernalia, a busy shot with a lot going on but it works.

I like the rustic feel in this shot. Looks like a lot of small town general stores I have been to.

I love the wall in the back. What a great place.

finally someone that "gets it" when doing titles! */*

there is too much objects on the picture, my eyes cannot relax on one place

Good shot. Good colors too.

Awesome capture and presentation. Gorgeous.

a lot of people here aren't big fans of "busier" compositions, but I really like this a lot. All of the red is great too

That's quite the front porch. The dog breaks the lines but is still a bit lost in the composition I think.

I like the color and composition. Since you titled the photo "Dog" I think it shoud have been in focus a little better

quite amusing.... the welcoming committee... 7

The dog looks like he belongs in these strange surroundings.

This is like a window to the past!

The good old country store, with its faithful watchdog.

Excellent. All this lovely junk, three locks on the door, and a dog who knows his job. No CCTV system required. 7.

Just a collector item. And the dog gives life to it.

Wonderful setting. As I'm trying to figure out what to comment on, it's growing on me quite a bit. Is the focus a little soft on the dog?

What a fantastic cornucopia you have found here! The dog is perfectly placed an completely integral to the composition.

Very interesting old store dog and porch scene. I like the assorted odd objects and colors. 8

I wonder how many people thought that the title was referring exclusively to the canine on the porch? Interesting pic.

Wonderful commentary piece. Great sense of design and color. Was he barking at you? ;-) Score: 8

Seems he wants to hold on to all the stuff, LOL, I like your photo, lots to see in it.
Post actions
I like it all, except the expression of the dog. If he were sitting there like a hound dog... with all of that rust and old stuff... I think it would have been better. But, he is who he is, huh? :)
Post actions
I love this. You should hang this on the wall.

Very interesting. You could crop tighter slighly by cropping away the chair in the bottom left corner, 6
Post actions
Oh but there is much more than the dog to keep our interest

Fun shot. There is so much to look at, and really bold colors, I almost missed the bodyguard dead center!
Post actions
Love the old fashioned mood of this shot, and the dog just makes it pop, esp with this expression

What a handsome dog! One of my favorites in this challenge!
Post actions
what a throw back in time, I'd like to see a shot of just the door with the cola bottle on it
Post actions
Great country vintage scene...awesome dog too!

People talk about the "wow" factor...I like your shot, but it didn't make me say wow. The old colors are great, and all this objects could make your shot look busy, but i like them because they seem to be interacting. I'm not sure about the dog, doesn't tell me much.

What a busy looking store.
