Great in black and white and great subject of course, but would be nice to see something to focus on like the giraffe's face

love the implied lines created by the neck, but i would like to see a little more face or less

I love the perspective of this and the black and white for it. Very unique shot.

Very nice. I do wish that there was more contrast between the giraffe and the background to really make those spots stand out.

Great that you did this in black and white. The bokeh is an excellent backdrop for your subject.

Lovely capture here. Good use of B/W IMO and your focus, detail and textures are well done. The one eye give this photo the balance it needs to work. Nicely done.

This is the most interesting wildlife photograph I've seen for ages. All those joints and angles, and the camouflage merging with the background. Very fine, unusual image. 8.

This is an amazing new angle on a giraffe. I love that feeling of seeing something for the first time. 10

The crop makes this look SO odd! Pleasing but odd, as though body parts were coming in from all sides. I love the unusual pov of the giraffe's neck, and those eyelashes! Great detail and sharpness, love the b/w.

Interesting composition. The color treatment works very well.
Post actions
nice conversion to B&W, cool to see a different perspective on a girafe
Post actions
has an almost abstract feel to it. good b/w conversion. if there only was a highlight in the eye...
Post actions
interesting angle and compesition - its good

Nice prespective, it something different to see. I like the soft tones.

Very nice indeed. I like how the bokeh in the BG has a 'spotty' look that matches the giraffe's coat.
Post actions
Excellent composition, exposure, tones, and just an all around delightful and intriguing photograph.

That's a long way down! it's a bugger when you have an itch :-) I like this in black and white.
Post actions
This is just wonderful, it seems to capture, utterly, the quirky essence that is "giraffe". The disconnected neck, the dependent head, are just SO right :-) Good luck with this.

The looks freaky, I like it!

You've got to scratch where it itches and shoot when appropriate. Great timing, nice crop and a lovely b/w.

i like how the giraffe's neck goes off the page, leaving it up to the viewer's imagination to fill in the rest. Love the asymmetry of the body here. I like that you used B&W as well, though I may be biased as it is my favorite form of photography. Overall, lovely image.

What an interesting perspective. It takes the viewer a few seconds to figure it out, but that's a good thing because it is engaging.
