I love the abstract and this one hits me right! I would almost have liked an ambiguous title 7

The b/w conversion and/or tonal range is so exceptional here... I'm so moved by the "impact" of this abstract collection. Wonderful!

I love this type of image: smooth, sharp, deep tonality, luminous reflections 9

WOW! Really well lighted and captured.

Wow, what great dark tones! Great texture, here.

Wow. This one is unique and VERY well done. Nice to see something like this amidst all the landspcapes.

Like the effect you have achieved with the silkiness broken up by the coarseness of the rocks.
Post actions

This is so cool, I've seen your similar photo (can't remember who you are though). The inky look of the water, the surface tension, the rocks, all wonderful elements when combined like this.

Love all the gravity induced highlights! LOL Beautiful.

Doesn't necessarily remind me of chocolate -- more like oil, BUT I really like the textures in this and it is a wonderfully cool abstract.

Such a simple image yet at the same time there is a lot to look at. A nice duality.

Voted earlier coming back to leave comments now. This is a wonderful study of light, shapes, and color. A simple clean minimalistic composition that is also an abstract that is very appealing. Love how the light fall such that where the liquid and rocks meet it is illuminated in a nice glow. I know you state in the title that this is black chocolate but I see it more of a rich, thick black oil that is bathing what appears to my eye as rocks. If that is not what it is then boy did you fool me! Not that it has any less visual impact for as I state I really love how the light falls and plays upon the scene - the differences between light and shadow draw the eye in - 7.

This could very well be a product shot for chocolate. Very well done.

This is just a sexy macro! So dark but so light with amazing focus and detail. Having the solid pieces among the liquid is spot on and the texture of them is wonderful. What a gem! =) 9

Is it chocolate? It looks like rocks in a river.

Not normally one for still art, and yet the flow somehow intrigues me.

The all new "Pebble" taste? And what's that red area in top right corner?
