Thanks for all the nice comments, it wasn't HDR though... The tight crop is because there is a skating rink and an apartment building right behind it. I wish it was open and rolling fields, but I work with what I got... :-)

great color and detail. the color range suits the weathered subject well. nice hdr. the shooting angle gives a good sense of size, and the grass around says "parked forever".

Great old truck and the grasses growing up around it add character. The current crop doesn't show anything in middle distance - I'm intrigued to know if there was endless rolling country that might have added to the sense of abandonment - or maybe there was something there restricting the possible angles of shot.

I like your perspective and composition. I took a shot of an old truck a few months back, and tried a photoshop action called draganizer on it... i liked the results. I think it would look good on this shot too.
