This so cool on so many levels... perfect exposure. I love the lone figure down in the depths.

Good eye to catch this. I never would have thought to photograph an escalator in this way, but this composition works well.
Bumped to 10, and added to favorites.

Great use of line to draw my eye in. The tilt confuses but keeps me interested too.

There is something that I really like about this shot. What it is... I have no idea of
03/15/2009 02:28:34 PMPost actions
Great perspective - like the almost "flowing" movement of the escalator.

Cool POV of an escalator! Nice PP here. Would have cloned out the spot on the left though...7

Like the tilt, the feeling of motion, and the use of an implied vanishing point, plus the reflections on the steps. This works for me - very well.

Visually disorienting, I like the lone figure at the top/bottom. I'm getting dizzy, must go now! ;)

Love the abstract forms in this ... more even than the details of the photo.

vertigo inducing - great perspective!
03/13/2009 12:35:57 PMPost actions
Awesome angle! I like the lighting, and the way the lines pull you in, bringing you to the person way down there at the bottom. :) One small nitpick: Could have cloned out that spot there on the left side of the escalator.
03/13/2009 12:29:22 PMPost actions
I like that image with the twisted horizon. Well done and nice composition.
03/13/2009 12:23:57 PMPost actions

03/13/2009 11:47:29 AMPost actions

You can get a sense of vertigo without the tilt - now you've made it twice as bad ;) Lovely graphic image :)
03/13/2009 12:51:20 AMPost actions
Unique perspective - I like it a lot.
03/13/2009 12:12:01 AMPost actions
nice angles and lines. might be fun to play with the colors on this one. :)
03/12/2009 08:57:01 PMPost actions
Very creative. It looks like a waterfall!
03/12/2009 08:50:29 PMPost actions
I think this image would be cool without the tilt - it feels like a gimmick but, with the number of images submitted this way, it must be a new DPC trend. excellent processing to bring out the best of the image.

Great angle and the square crop fits this one perfectly.
03/12/2009 07:28:21 PMPost actions
Nice motion capture in the steps.
03/12/2009 05:08:22 PMPost actions

I really like the composition and muted colors of this image I almost wish the one person was not there... but at the same time... I think I would miss them...
03/11/2009 03:24:20 PMPost actions
I really like this a lot. I really really wish you had shown us a 720px version. :( This would look so much better big.

Vertigo-inducing! Excellent sense of design and texture! 9
03/11/2009 01:24:23 PMPost actions
