Black and white works very good here, well done :)

Great capture, but something about it tells me it is staged, is it? I will give you the benefit of the doubt. 9

What an intensity of gaze. Simple, unprepossessing photograph, but utterly compelling. I do wish the eyes were as sharp as the lips and the badge, but it's a quibble. 8 from me.

Don't assume that because you have an affinity for your subject, the rest of the world will too. Otherwise, a good workmanlike photo.

Great face, his bright eyes really stand out without looking pimped (thanks in part to the smudged face), I like the silver tones on top but feel a bit blinded by the brightness - it makes me want to scroll down so I can see his face without competition! The overall effect is very nice, however.

This has so much more potential. It is a great pic, unfortunately the processing has left it a little flat still.IMO

Great rugged mans, man portrait.

Probably would have tried to center the subject in this one for better impact. Still, a good shot.

Great detail in the face. I think a bit more contrast could really add some "grit" to this shot.
