I love this! Looks messy & structured at the same time. The lines of the branches all over the place contrast superbly with the straight ordered lines of the birdhouse

Nice high key shot, the blacks such as they are are quite graphical

Nice shot. Simple and light.

Excellent capture of some very heavy snowfall, narrowing in on a purple martin house, trees and grass laden with several inches of snow as a microcosm of the area.

Getting the texture is hard. I like this. So real you could touch that snow.

Lovely birdhouse in the snow with nice branch patterns.

Looks like they've got great insulation in the attic. Like the strong contrast between the snow and branches. A bit busy, but I think it works.

really can feel the season in this shot

almost works as an abstract image with all the black lines throughout the photo

Delightful snow scene. I love the way the grasses ,branches and twigs form lacy patterns of black against the white snow. Would make a lovely seasons greetings card. 8

Would love to see a splash of colour such as a bird on the birdhouse.

Cold fluffy kind of snow. You handled the large amount of white in the image very nicely.

I love a fresh snowfall.... its always a beautiful scene.

it's nice that the birdhouse stands out so well even though there are so many branches around

Great use of light and contrast. Excellent detail!

Good composition well treated in post. There is a tiny bit of pixellation going on here which is unfortunate.

I'm so sick of snow, but this is beautiful. I love the maze of all the branches hazardously pointing this way and that.

Beautiful setting. Would like to see the color shot.

I love it when snow looks like this. A little more lighting separation between the background, the birdhouse, and the foreground would have made this even better.

White on white on white - works really well here!

I really quite like this - just has a nice quietness to it, yet somehow it's kinda cheerful. Maybe the promise of spring? And I like all the lines - everywhere!

Wow look at all that snow. It looks so cold, but pretty. Nice shot.
Post actions
good composition, but the bird house gets lost in all the branches.... in my opinion

Simple image, yet still holds the eye, well done.
