Somehow I can't decide whether the tracks work for me or not. Nevertheless, I find the image compelling and very well done.

A fascinating moment of nature's transition between peace and hostility.

Nice coloring, I like the include of the train tracks.

Nicely composed shot... the colours are really good, and i like the railroad on the right.

Stunning country side scene.

Thank you for using interesting composition and not putting the tracks right down the middle! This looks great. It's very eye-catching.

Smart composition with a couple of focus points...

interesting clouds...just wish the mountain was in sharper focus

beautiful place and moment of not very good quality (its a bit grainy) still its five for the moment taken ;D

Extraordinary sky. Love the leading lines of the rails. Snow-capped peaks seal a fine photo.

Great lighting. The clouds / sky in the upper left form an optical illusion where you can see the blue as closer, or the clouds as closer. Nice light on the mountains.

Great Shot with interesting color/light contrasts.

Very beautiful scene. The colors (look a bit over saturated but) look beautiful and the composition all leads down to that one point, very nice.

great feel for the vastness of this area

I like that the train tracks are off center and that the light highlights the snow capped mountains.

This shot would've scored higher for me if the mountain was in focus.

Wow - Excellent Photo. You must have been very happy with this.

the mountain seems a little over saturated- really nice set up though.

Beautiful scene... but it seems a bit overprocessed... especially on the mountain.

Truly stunning photo. Using the RR tracks as leading lines to your (subject) horizon really makes this photo interesting

the dark sky towards the upper left kind of spoils the balance of the image for me, I love the leading lines and the light on the mountain, just looks a little overprocessed for my tastes
Post actions
Nice perspective.. and tones.

great colors in the grass and in the sky, nice leading lines in the road and in the clouds, too bad the road is not directed to the snow-capped mountain, but we cannot shift these things around, that's beyond normal human powers ;)

I like the colors, especially on the left side of the image.

Great drama and I like that the clouds dwarf the hills

Great scenery, lovely greens.

First reaction: whoah! That combination of grassy foreground, mountains and sky is jarring! The tracks are a bonus. This pic has it all, but the small DPC print is a crime. I demand a print!

Love the tracks on the right. Gives it a difference from other landscapes. Good lighting. A little over pixelized but still has lots of interest.

wonderful light, and clouds. great shot

The definition of Big Sky. or Big Country! Nice, glowing colors, love how the rails draw the eye into the distance, although they point away from the main event of the snow-capped mountains. Great luminosity in the clouds.
