Good clarity and the youthful face is lit nicely (sometimes a close-up like this only reveals flaws). I think the reflection in the eye catches the attention, not sure if that was your goal or not.

I don't know if I'm more mesmerized by the eye or by the shape whithin the catchlight in the eye. Perhaps that was the goal... if so it worked wonderfully. If not, you need to watch the catchlights and you got a bump in your score for a cool mistake :-)

Great use of selective desat, I think it would have worked even better with a green or blue eye, (my taste I guess). DOF is very shallow, I would prefer the eye brow in focus. Best of luck.

I really like this shot! The only thing I think *might* have made it even better would be to see the entire eye in colour (so we could see the red lines and etc). I still really like it, though. I like the pun title as well (is it your eye?).
