2 lunar eclipses, now a solar eclipse
Post actions
Woooohooooo! this is sky and telescope quality, if not better, one of my favorites in the challenge, absolutely amazing! That tiny coronal flare is absolutely beautiful, one of the best images I've seen on this site. And since I really appreciate it, it is absolutely GUARANTEED to be underappreciated on this site ;-)

Superb. Love the detail in the corona. Is that an actual solar flair near the top?
Post actions
Very cool. You gotta have your shit together to get one of these shots or it's another long time before you get another shot at it. Did you have to travel to see this?
Post actions
This is a stunning, breathtaking shot. I especially love the coma flare. I hope to have an opportunity to shoot a full solar eclipse someday. Bravo for making the most of your opportunity.

The flares in the upper left make this shot. The dance of light behind the front object is really cool. Can't wait to see exactly what this shot is of... Well done!
Post actions
Not sure how you managed this but its amazing. I love the flare too. Great shot. Well done and good luck for the rest of the challenge.

Looks like you have a little corona seeping around the edge about 11:00. Pretty cool.
Post actions
Don't know when you caught this but in recent years the sun has been very quiet. Very lucky to catch a prominence like that. Beautiful image.
Post actions
hmmm- nice flares of light.
Post actions
Incredible, once in a lifetime type of shot. Good timing.
Post actions
Nice alignment. The small pink spot is the most interesting to me.

Awesome, I like how you captured one of the solar prominences. Very nice.
Post actions
I suspect this isn't a "true" solar eclipse, ...but no matter. It's a stunning photograph/
Post actions
the red area bugs me and I like more off-centered imagery..
Post actions
Technically successful but not high on artistic merit
Post actions
Beautiful to see some solar flares here!
Post actions
Was this an eclipse? almost looks like a bit of sun flare on the top? Very interesting regardless.
Post actions
Interesting. Like to know how it was achieved.

Simple but cool! nice eclipse shot!
Post actions
that's a bit too perfect alignment ... what is that red stuff at the top of the circle
Post actions
Ok. This is odd. I'm not sure if I want to stare at this forever until I figure it out... or go to the fridge for a snack because it's not interesting.
Post actions
omg is that a CME? Super capture of our star!!

Since I've never tried this one myself, I don't even have any idea how difficult it is to do this kind of shot. And I'm still very impressed.
