Hi,
It has been a long since I opened dpchallange webpage you have put up your creativity. Please 'spring back to life'!
If I stare at this picture for long, I see cracks in the sky. A nice pic. Keep it up!

Interesting shot, if it were a bit sharper I think it would pop more.

Good idea. A few less branches might score better.

interesting pov- but i think the out of focus tree bark takes up too much of the photo- the branches against the sky i what i find interesting.

Interpretation of Topic:Good Idea
Photography: Fine, but you may have wanted to wait a week to get more life in the shot.
Viewers Reaction: Interesting!

The new leaves and shoots are hard to spot & the trunk is a bit distracting. Maybe tighter, closer shot of the small leaves & only branches..

I really like all those branches (more than the trunk of the tree, actually). They are like cracks in the sky.

This looks like veins! Nice perspective and detail, but lighting is too weak.

well, this is a snarly, scrubby, barren tree, showing the barest of life in the form of leaves popping out in various locations

definitely a cool shot, but the closest branch distracts me a bit. a different crop might help bring out the few leaves towards the top of the tree

The smaller branches make interesting, abstract patterns, however the main "lump" doesn't do much for me. I don't think the new leaves make much of a visual impact -- I'd hardly have noticed them if not for your title.

The branches look so neat, like they're cracks in the sky. I'm not liking this branch right at the center foreground though; Its bothersome.

Seems a little snapshot type to me. I have taken a lot of images looking up the trunk of a tree - none published in any form. This just seems to be lacking in any kind of direction.

Like how you chose the vertical shot here. The branches coming from the top add a lot for me. Seems as though we don't see all of the tree's limbs. Would have liked to have seen a bit more of the tree itself though. But I do enjoy the composition.
