Wow, I can't believe there are no people on that dock to watch the fireworks. You had a great seat. Looks like a good show.

Very well composed capture, good highlights. I know how difficult these firework shots are.

not sure if I like the colors on the bridge...it is truly a direct reflection? or is it very altered...your fireworks are special...those are some of the best fireworks I have seen on this site...but I am not sure about the red...

The colors seem a little harsh, although perhaps there was nothing you could do about that. The composition is excellent though!

picture looks to aggressive, too red.

wonderful fireworks image, but the foreground is a bit distracting. maybe a tighter crop at the bottom and rotate slightly to left would work well here

Very interesting abstract color

Great color and textures!

hard subject to get just right, this really works

Intricate and fascinating, but the bottom line is it doesn't move me much. One thing I do find interesting is it's not every day you see a fireworks shot that's half-foreground and without reflections... You made it into my top-seed group (7) but in the end didn't get bumped from there.

A perfect shot to enter in this challenge! And very impressive fireworks.
Post actions
very cool capture, but why did you make the fireworks colors so muted ?
Post actions
Wow, that must have been spectacular - nicely captured

Voted earlier coming back to comment now. Holy cow that is an impressive amount of fireworks going off! Must have been really something to see...and most assuredly very loud too:-) Love the capture that showcases these fireworks like flowers in full bloom. The time exposure really worked in capturing this gem. Brilliant white blooms bursting out and up off of the deep reds we see dominating the bottom half of the image. Colors are bold and vibrant.

fantastic timing, looks awesome

The red is a bit harsh. But nice capture.
Post actions
Wonderful capture! Well composed and the overpowering of the red really adds to the firework feel
Post actions
Whee! The explosions are nicely balanced.

I usually don't like firework shots but this has a great mood to it. Very cool capture.

Looks like a magnificent firework! All the red colors looks a little unnatural, but perhaps it's just the way it was.

SO fun! I love the almost duotoned look of this, it is very different from your typical fireworks shot.
