What a character !!! But don't assume that because you have an affinity for your subject, the rest of the world will too. Otherwise, a good workmanlike photo.

hello Jean's mom. Nice to meet you! And you have a wonderful portrait here.

What a great expression on this little lady... she looks like she's very spunky!! (next time pull her away from the background just a bit so you don't have that shadow on the right - otherwise the lighting is really nice)

What a delightful smile your subject has - she looks lovely! You clearly have a great deal of empathy with this old lady, and it shines through in the photo. On a technical note, the background is a little stark, but it is the character that you have captured so well that matters here.

Very nice portrait. The light seems a little flat, but overall it looks pretty good.

I wish the background was different so the subjects hair didn't get lost in it so easily.

She has an infectious smile :-)

I may have chosen a different background color to highlight her gorgeous silver hair ...nonetheless, fantastic portrait ... she seems so happy and full of life!

She looks so happy! I think a colored background would help balance out the white hair, but her expression is to die for.

Maybe technically not perfect but such a wonderful shot that who cares? I had a big smile before it had even finished opening. :)

An excellent candid, and probably a wonderful memory for either you or whoever you took this image for. Her smile and her eyes are priceless! I like it that the whole image is in tones of red (is that her favourite colour?). It is probably a bit too personal a picture for it to do well in a very public contest such as this one.

A nice and joyful portrait. The colors are fitting well together. Perhaps a little too much reflection in the glasses.

This makes me smile! It is simple, straightforward and isn't so black and white and dramatic as many shots are of older people. Beautiful portrait.
