Cute but there's a lot going on here, the grass being so sharp is distracting, if there was a more selective DOF it would pop more I think.

Neat shot, but it has some funky spots where it looks like noise reducers "happened."

Oh so cute, adorable chick. Sunlight is a bit harsh but not much you could do about that other than shoot it at a different time of day and then you probably would not get this great moment.

using existing light, and not wanting to disturb the subject is always a challenge. just a little more light on mom would have really elevated this image IMO

Very cool capture! Mom's face is a bit dark; I'd dodge the shadows and cathclight in her eye, and maybe desaturate her blue/cyan hues to bring out her expression better.

And so she gazed upon her newly arrived chick with the love that only a mother can give. With a sense of awe and happiness and confusion and anxiety and joy and any and every emotion possible, all wrapped up into one.
She gazed and she loved and she hoped and she dreamed.
Such is motherhood through all species and barriers. To the end of time.

Touching image. I wish you'd processed Mom's eye a bit to bring it out more.
Also, I'd have cropped off the right side, getting rid of that black triangle up top and letting Mom look into the frame more.
