I shot this for the Long Exposure IV Minimal Editing Challenge. I entered this instead. I was going to enter this in the September, 2008 Free Study. I entered this instead. I was going to enter this in the Best of 2008 Challenge. I entered the companion image, this , instead. Well it was recently selected as a POTD at Kodak, much to my surprise. I got no email saying it was selected so I was floored when I saw it. It when a couple of three monthly Best of Categories, a grand prize on site and a second place Travel and Place category on Better Photo so it must not be to bad. I hope. Enjoy.
Post: From what I recall: Camera Raw adjustments in PSElements 6.0. Layer adjustments for levels, brightness/contrast and hue/saturation. A bunch of spot editing of dust. Some Distortion Correction tool adjustments. The right vertical had a bit of blowout that I cloned over. Fairly certain a crop was involved but not positive. Adjust Sharpness. Resize. USM.
Course I am just going to vomit if AP entered another of his great BFB shots. Oh well! LOL!

haha Robert no BFB shot for me! I'm gonna try to find another 'muse' :P I love how you have the full range of colors in this shot, and you caught it at the perfect time where all the lights and hues are in balance. congrats on the top 100!
I'm hoping to leave comments on as many photo's in this challenge as possible... this was one of the few images I scored a 10.
There are quite a few cityscape/bridge/sunset pictures in this challenge, but this is one of the standout images to me. Not a contrived composition, and great colours. One of my criteria for a 10 is "would I have this on my wall", and for this image, I would!
I've never seen the BJ Bridge look so elegant! I used to live in Philly, so recognize the landscape. The colors and composition are perfect! WELL DONE!
Great colors in the sunset, I love the blue sky above the bridge and the yellow below it, almost like the bridge was set there to frame the colors. The skyline in the background is really neat.
Well done!!! Beautiful sky and sunset colors, nice lighting on key bridge elements. Love the perspective and the lines, and the green tinge on the foreground base adds interest.
I've seen your other Ben Franklin Bridge photos and they are all great. This one has a great sunset contrast and color. I need to get out someday and try some of these.
