very well done! Love the background

Wow, that's a big one. A little closer for a sharper macro might have made this pop a bit more.

Crickey mate! That's a big hopper.

The focus is on the hand instead of the grasshopper

Nice capture! I think I would have liked the bottom and left side cropped a little bit more, but you did a great job with the colors and subject capture.
Post actions
I think you have a stowaway :)

It seems like the grasshopper's body is not as sharp as the hand. I wonder if a slightly larger depth of field (or manual focus) would have nailed it? Appealing photo anyway. Man, that is one big grasshopper!

cool shot! i like the angle, its unusual for a grasshopper shot
Post actions
good capture but does not provide must interest
Post actions
I might have cropped this a bit tighter

Good shot. Not sure how many chances to get this shot so nice capture.

That's pretty cool. Shows how big the grasshopper is.

ee why with the hand? :D

A pleasant summer day diversion.

Is that a locust? Or just one heck of a grasshopper? Oddly engaging composition: the sky and fields, and the hand floating above an open road that curves away towards the clouds. Nice.

i would have been way too squeamish to take a shot like this. congrats on an awesome capture.
Post actions
A tighter focus or crop might make this image stand out more.

This is blurry and the colors seem rather flat.. Maybe bringing the hand down a little and showing more of the sky would have been better.

Curious approach to the bug shot, but gives me a sense of adventure and discovery
Post actions
a little too central composition, plus there is too much hand which takes the focus away from the bug.
Post actions
Wow it looks pretty big! hahah. Wouldnt want it on my hand. Nice colors and detail and subject.

Cool bug. Good perspective.
Post actions

Post actions
Very nice close up, makes me wonder if the bug is real.
