Lovely bird; that blue eye is quite striking, even at this angle.

Voted earlier coming back to leave comments. Wonderful close-up shot of this parrot! Colors are great too with those rich soft yellows really popping visually off of the black background. Details in the feathers is astounding - one can see the individual 'hairs' on the feathers of this bird.

Beautiful little parrot! I love the colors and the eye looking coyly at the camera

Very nice focus and detail. You did a good job with the yellow. That's such a hard color to bring out detail in.

What a pretty parrot; I have two myself and I love them. :) I really like his eye; It looks very bright and really draws your attention. I feel like this could be sharper in some spots, but overall I think its a great capture.

Love the whimsical composition and the tones are so subtly suited. I really like this shot - great detail!

Excellent DOF and sharp details in the feathers. I like how you still got eye contact.

Nice and crisp shot on the main area of the bird. It's nice to see that you didn't get carried away with the processing, you could have very easily lost yourself with the contrast and colour shifting towards the dominate colours but I think you did just enough. Photographing birds is hard at times and you did a great job catching the playful nature of this bird.

I like this tight compositiona and that one eye looking directly at you.

I hear theme music in the background. He needs a cool secret agent name and a cool acronym for a spy organization to work for. How about C.H.I.R.P.?

Editing on the left looks odd but the bird is a nice colour and the eye is lovely and sharp.

Excellent picture, cute, sharp with great colors and composition.

he's so fluffy :) although i can see how that would be a problem against the background.

Looks like one of those "I want you" posters! Very nice.

Exceptional detail and clarity!

I would have cropped out the background completely. To choppy around the edges. Just left in from the eye over and down. Nice detail on the bird tho.

I think you have great detail here in the feathers. Good crisp capture.

Lovely! A bird shot with soul! Such a welcome change from the "portraits" that content themselves with detail, but seem to have no motivating, essential force behind them.

So shy in her feathered robe, for only she knew that she wore nothing underneath.

Beautiful parrot, beautiful coloring, super sharp. The masking along the left side of the bird is a little rough, possibly a slightly tighter crop to get rid of it, would make it less distracting.
Post actions
Amazing shot, love the color and overall sharpness. The black background helps it a lot.
Post actions
great composition, gret textures and color. great shot
