"Excuse me folks, just looking over the menu." This is how I picture Aslan from CS Lewis' Chronicles of Narnia. Great capture.

Lovely portrait of the king of beasts. Nice detail.

He has a calm, content stare. I am sure if I got closer to him, he would seem so calm anymore :)

He looks a bit ragged and aged, which is a cool character to give a lion, this to me tells a story.

So natural, so raw, so "real"... This is one of the better captures I've seen here. Outstanding. Bumping up...

WONDERFUL light only on his face with the darkness surrounding. Lovely.

Love the expression here, really good portrait.

would have liked either more or less light, a little more drama? imo
Post actions
Great expression of intensity and good preservation of the details.

excellent capture of mr lion, but would have benefited from one of those 'highly dramatic vignetting' treatments imho. Also a very slight crop down.

Wow, his hair looks so fuzzy.

He's looking reasonably cranky! Nice tones and good judgement to resist the temptation to over contrast which has resulted in a nice tonal range. 7. :)

His face just screams at me. Not in a bad way, he just delivers such power. Great job on your focus, detail and textures here. I can almost count the hairs in his mane. Beautiful image!
