Bizarre how some people focus on either the title or the frame and nothing else.

For me, a gentle reminder that we are not as big as we act like we think we are. This shot is very nice combination of black, blue, and he red.

Beautiful shot! Amazing colors! I'm not sure about the border. You did a great job!

OK, I have to admit this one's a little disappointing for me. The capture is fantastic, but the blackness of space is about 80% gray here, and that lack of contrast robs the image of much of its impact. So close to awesomeness! 8

Beautiful celestial shot, I'd like to try something like this someday... The stars look so cool when they're like exes like that.
Post actions
Wow? You have a telescopt I presume.
Post actions
Excellent shot. Not sure about the frame though. It looks like you are putting boundry on what otherwise a vast universe.

Incredible capture! Lovely colors and composition. I can't even begin to imagine how difficult these types of shots are. Well done.

I see it! And I think I see a mythical figure with wings too! FABULOUS!!!

Wow. Best astro in the 1000 challenge. Congrats.

I'm hoping to leave comments on as many photo's in this challenge as possible... this was one of the few images I scored a 10. One of my criteria for scoring a 10 is "Would I have this photo on my wall?" and for this one, I surely would.

As I wrote in another entry comment... I find it hard to assess astronomy photos in the way I would photos of any other subject, considering their specialized nature. This looks quite professional and attractive, however.

Beautiful shot somewhere in a galaxy far from here. 7

Very nicely done. I don't know a lot about this genre of photography, so I can't really tell you anything other than my personal opinion. I like the contrasts between the blues and the pinks and the sense of another world that it conveys.

Truly amazing. I sit in awe.

Truly spectacular. Even the prominent stars haveattractive spoke-like refractions. Tremendous job.

Nice shot and well framed

I think astrophotography is the most underappreciated type of shot around here. This is great.
Post actions
Beautiful, but I think a little more levels, channels, or contrast could really make this image pop.
Post actions
Like I am in space. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure this isn't an easy thing to capture! Nice colours and proper star bursts!

I'm not very good in star systems, but this looks beautiful with the bright stars and the red "clouds".

Nice! A little 'murky' maybe. I hope that border doesn't DQ ya.

I'm normally not a big fan of astro-photography, but this is pretty cool. Great color, nice detail and a strong composition. Well done.

Star shots are always so neat. I love the coloring. Great capture.

I'm sorry but this is not photography to me. I know how this works, hooking up to the telescope, etc. I dont like it because without a telescope, this wouldn't be possible, and I guess I prefer photos straight from a camera.
