how the heck did this get a 5.1? Second time I reviewed a favorite from this challenge that I gave a 10 to that scored in the 5.0-5.1 range.
Post actions
What a shame this didn't come up in my 500 votes - would've been a 10 from me. I like quirky photos like this.... ;-Þ

This is a kick! 5.1? Seriously? Bah. Great photo - don't let the score tell you otherwise.

I really love this photo. It's one of my few favorites in this challenge. This is the kind of photo I wish I had of myself when I was a kid. When I was young, my parents put a good bit of effort into shooting super-8 movies, which are a thing of the past now, but they did transfer them manually to VHS tapes a long time ago, and since then, I have converted those to DVD so they will hopefully live a little longer. I hope this child gets to look back on this photo in 20... 40... and even 60 or 80 years down the road and realize how nice it was to have someone interested in pointing a camera at him :) +fav

Not my idea but interesting.

Unusual looking kid, unusual shot. Crazy eyes. The kids skin color/tone looks unnatural(wonky) and too orangy though.
Post actions
Heheheheh... those goggle are awesome. Thanks for the laugh.

The editing kind of takes away from this shot. I dont much dig tonemapping on people. But the base image I love.

Nice crop. Talk about in your face.

Couldn't be any more wonky than this, for sure :-) Tremendously beguiling, off-the-wall image.

You owe me a keyboard. LOL.

strange and compelling in a bizarre sort of way, what to say? some how "nice shot" doesn't do it.

What a funny photo!! It made me laugh.

hmm, i think the over processing of this image doesn't help it. to me the skins saturation is too high. The original photo could have been quite cute

cute. Baby is a bit distorted, blurry, and off-color. Those glasses do make me smile, though.
Post actions
Silly but it has a childlike charm to it. I like the in-your-face POV and the lomo effect.
Post actions
Hahaha, those are awesome and ridiculous. I find the bit of trees behind the shoulder a bit distracting, but I like this.

Funny shot that has been a bit too over processed in my opinion.
Post actions

This one cracks me up so much! It is absolutely delightful! I think it should get an 11 but the knobs on our amps only go to a ten so we are going to have to build some new ones for when we want to go higher!
Post actions
Well, this is rather creepy looking.
Post actions
Post actions
ga! thats freaky! lol. i would suggest not cropping the tip of his head off next time, thats a bit distracting, and the green tree thing over in the corner could use removal.
Post actions
freaks me out, this one could be used to scare children if they watch too much cartoons, hehe. too bad it's not sharp in the face. the border would look better in black i think.
Post actions
Oh my gosh, you made me laugh out loud here at my desk at work. Awesome job.
Post actions
Hahaha, what an adorable baby shot.
Post actions
Reminds me of "Mad Eye Moody" in Harry Potter and I confess I'm a little creeped out by it. So at least you grabbed my attention and delivered an emotional payload.

A pop art feel to this with the oversaturated colors and the hue selected. Not to everyones liking IMO. not my preference either , 5
