Pictured is a lonely, 121-year-old grave in The Minneapolis Pioneers and Soldiers Memorial Cemetery which occupies 27 acres in the central city. It opened in 1853, before perpetual care trusts were required, and - for lack of funding - it is in poor repair. The cemetery is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Nearly 20,000 pioneers and soldiers/veterans are buried in the cemetery. About half of those buried are children, dramatizing the rigors of pioneer life and the state of medical knowlege and practice in the 19th century.
While you met the challenge with this it feels like you shot this quickly. Might of been a bit closer and level with the stone to improve the shot. Hope it does well for you.
