Very interesting perspective and tilt here, I like it in the black and white.

Great photo of an otherwise mundane subject. The sharpness is really good.

Lovely texture and detail in this B&W
Post actions
greyscale was a good choice

Simple...I do find the b&W tones really appealing. They allow me to appreciate the rough texture of the woods and metal.

Nice editing. Different angle. Like the look of the latches and wood.
Post actions
Good B&W conversion and detail in the wood. I'm guessing your angle is intentional, but it is a bit unsettling for me. Not that it's a bad thing.

Nice simple hinge shot! Good tone and detail.
Post actions

Great macro of locks. Odd perspective though. Not sure I get what you were going for here.

angle of view adds to the overall image

I like photos of things that most people don't photograph (such as this). Focus could have been just a bit sharper. I am bumping it up one point from my original score.

a bit disinteresting altho it is crisp

I feel like the crop on this should've left the subject farther from the center.

I like this - nice tones in b/w - some may say it's not an interesting subject, but... nice job!

I like the tilt you have used here but it still seems a bit too centered

The simplicity of a subject matched with a complex photo. Beautiful!

The horizontal format is leading my eye away from the locks. I wonder if a square crop might keep the viewer focused.
Post actions
Works well in mono, good tonal range
Post actions
looks rustic and weathered, b&w adds to effect.

Something about this I like, nice definition, wacky subject, B&W, has everything I like. Perhaps a bit more contrast...? - 6
