I am very very dissapointed, this should have finished many places higher. Still a perfect 10 in my book.

Great composition. I like the way it's not over sharpened. Just enough sharpness. Good luck.

Wow, that's an eagle! I like how there are no distractions, just an eagle and subtle sky in the background. How cool to capture it at full wing-span.

Great clear shot... very sharp... love it.

Great pose, great background, Great clarity and detailin the feathers.

Very nice and crisp. I also like the DOF and the pale blue sky provides just the right color of backdrop. Very well done!

maybe the best eagle shot I have seen here. and he's been around--little war wound on his left wing tip. 7

Detail is great. Have a print of this? Could be used for the eagle foundation if there is one.

Most excellent capture. Great looking detail and exposure. Sharp from one wingtip to the other. (no vote)

Really nice shot, & if this was in the wild that makes it even better. Great job at not getting a blown-out sky. Very nice.

Voted earlier coming back to comment now. Wonderful shot of this eagle in flight!!! Love the details that can be seen in the outstretched wings, the feathers in the body and tail! Great colors too! I HAD been trying to get a shot like this for close to two years but never succeeded - they just travel too fast for me to get the focus right and/or they see my camera and have this UNCANNY response to fly off IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION FAR FAR away from me! Kudos to you for getting such a lovely shot.

Beautiful image. Like the fact that it is not on a plain blue background.

great body shot:) could use some saturation tweaking, but the comp is perfect, as is the crop.

I understand that a shot like this isn't easy so I can see why you entered it but having seen so many of this ilk before, it's difficult to get excited about seeing another one. I would just say keep at it and try to find more unique looking moments of this bird to capture.

Gorgeous detail; I am so jealous!! Glad I didn't enter one of my flying eagle shots because this one puts mine to shame.

I love the subject and composition. Looks a bit over sharpened especially in the tail and belly areas. I think a little softness would have been ok as the eagle is obviously 'moving.'

Impressive capture. I always admire the ability to so sharply capture a bird mid flight - have not mastered it myself.

Beautiful flight shot. Lovely detail and composition.

good sharpness, and a nice shot, but it is too centered for my taste.
