Cicadas are such funky bugs!

The color is so cool here, it almost looks unnatural.

I find the background a little too distracting. (and the bug scares me, but that won't affect the score).

Back for bump and comment. Excellent clarity and colors. I'm not particularly fond of the angle, but it's not a biggie.

Well captured and presented. What the heck is this???

Nice macro of a unique bug.

cool macro, the thing to improve here would be to have a more appealing , nice bokeh background. So in cases like this, you mave to selectively add a blur selectively to your background , 6

Interesting shot. Not something you see every day. The lighting is a tad harsh, but well captured.

Nice pic - one of those "gotta walk up on it" moments. Wish it was a little sharper on the bug - maybe a macro lens?

OOF. Cool color of green though.

Great capture! Excellent color, sharpness and DOF. I've been willing to capture this moment, but never had the chance, congratulations!!

picture looks a bit flat and noisy.

Image is a bit noisy, colors are interesting.

damn thats ugly good detail tho

Most colorful locust I've seen.

very well done macro, i would crop a little more on the right to balance the bug a little more on the image, also a little too much sharpening, still a very nice catch

I don't believe I have seen a shot of one of these at this stage before, incredible.

I have never seen a cicada (I think that is what this is!) so green! Great shot!

you have just a "little haloing" around the wings from over sharpening, but that doesn't distract from you photo...great colors

Nice macro but the background is really noisy. Good color on the bug tho (if its a bug?).
