You can't go wrong with mustard yellow and deep blue. The houses really give it a sense of scale.

Nice use of a wide angle. I like the contrast between the yellow and the blue. The composition, as a whole, seems a bit centered, along the horizon, and I think more field or sky used as negative space would have given this a bit more *oomph*

I quite like the conveyance of "vast" in this - the field and the sky dwarf the buildings - nice reminder of where we fit in the scheme of things.
