 I was fooling around with side lighting and I liked the way this came out.

Simple editing, levels, curves, saturation, sharpen.

This is a really lovely edit. Though recognizable as a rose, it almost has taken on a sort of "other worldly" kind of feel - a world unto itself in a way. Really pretty!

Oh, this is just gorgeous. I can see why you liked the center - it looks - delicious, is the word that comes to mind. I love the dof and the beautifully crisp details.
