Anna, CONGRATULATIONS! This is brilliant. With flawless execution! The only thing that is surprising is that you are surprised it won a ribbon. To me it looks like a no-brainer for a ribbon :)

Jane Eyre, had to read that in a woman's lit class, the teacher would go on and on about how good it was. We did not meet eye to eye to say the least.

Stunningly executed. I really love this - my pick for the blue.

This is very pretty. You went beyond what a lot of people would have done and just pose the books. The fluttering pages is an excellent touch.

Great shot and nicely framed. Probably would have scored high in the Action III challenge as well!

can I see a face in the middle of the flicking pages? Very nice anyway.

very nicely done. great composition and light. the motion blur gives this image that little something, which makes all the difference. very nice.

Ah, nice shot. I love the smoothness of all the surfaces, the fact that the books are a part of a collection (really makes the shot feel purposeful and planned) and the blur of the pages is perfect - we can still read the title of the book behind the pages but there is a sense of motion. I like this a lot.
