White felt background, blasted out by a full-power AB800.
I don't know how well this will do. I have never liked my lighting attempts for this type of photo. I am much more comfortable with black backgrounds. But hey, that's what DPC is for - learning.

I think I remember this lovely young lady from a family portrait you did. Your lighting has improved greatly - nice shot! (If my memory is incorrect then sorry but well done anyway!)
This could use just a touch more light from the front. There's a very faint hint of a catch light in the eyes, but a stronger twinkle would really bring out the life in her eyes.
I think there might be a bit too much white above her head also.
