You might want to "Edit the details of this Image" above and repeat your steps. I'm sure many people have been here to see how you did it, and most will miss it in the comments section because usually that's other people talking to you about the image.
This setup took a long time.
First I took a photo and then added the puzzle texture in Photoshop.
Printed that out in b&w and then hand-carved the random pieces with a razor.
Finally, put the printed version in a frame and had my subject hold it as
best he could to line up his face with the photo!
I'm very happy about my ribbon! I just joined DPChallenge and cant wait to enter more contests.

Ha, well done! Some people can pull off this trick so well. I really want to try something like this someday.Great composition and I think it turned out quite well.
Great idea ( I see someone else had the same idea also) and superb technical execution. Will take the Blue ribbon imo but if not will definitely place 2nd or 3rd. 10
