After trying to get the affect using standard jigsaws without any luck I eventually had a large puzzle piece cut from a sheet of black card.
The black jigsaw piece is standing on a pile of coins all on top of a sheet of glass.
Under the glass was a lamp and between the card and the glass was a sheet of green gel.
Very little editing just a bit of B&C H&S and USM.

Ooh, I like this, I was imagining something like this for somebody else's picture. Simple but fun to look at and definitely meets the challenge. Good job.
