I missed the great lighting, but had promised to have a submission for Calendar for the Head to Head side challenge.
I've worked this shot to death. Mainly with Shadow/Highlights, using both the shadows and the highlights, with overlay, lighten and flattening between takes. Vinette added. Dust removed. Dodge and burn with grey overlay layer. Sharpened with High Pass and overlay, and with PhotoKit Sharpener.

a little step photography in this would have really made a difference...a little to the left and the mountain would have been more the focus...it is soooo much prettier than the tree...love the colors
