We were at about 8,000 feet above sea level in the Kitulo game reserve in Tanzania and my wife noticed that there were catepillers drenched in dew all over the grass in a meadow. The dew droplets were crazy on this hairy catepillar. In several of the droplets there is a cool refraction of the sky and some trees.

This is a really cool subject. I'm not sure that I find it particularly puzzling. I wish the focus were a bit sharper. I love the way the sun glints off of that big drop near the bottom. I think the extra twig is distracting, wish that weren't there.
This bug is really making the rounds. Absolutely incredible capture. Love the crossed twigs as counterpoint to the explosion of droplets, and the star flare. I'm faving it, but is this REALLY a Puzzled shot? Will likely ribbon as I am always wrong about these things...
