I like the idea of backlighting flowers, but I'm not convinced that it works with this shot. I like it on the flowers themselves, but it makes the leaves very jumbled and messy looking. Perhaps backlighting the flowers, but adding some front lighting low for the leaves?
This has a very nice, fresh feel about it. The roughly diagonal composition is pleasing and the DOF good.
I'm a bit confused by the outlining of the background flowers as they look a bit as if they have been painted in (which I'm sure is not true).
