I think this is really nice. Beautiful colors show up well against the black background. It's a great abstract, and the irregularity of the circles gives it character. I didn't get a chance to vote on it during the challenge, but I think it should've been rated higher than it was.
Like Naif-school art, and not something that ever held very much appeal for me personally, and certainly not as photography, but there you go. Has a certain appeal in its irregularity I suppose, and well rendered for a very tricky medium given the size restrictions here. But I'm struggling to find good things to say about an image which I don't frankly find anything to hold my interest for long in. 3
I really gravitated to the creamy yellow center. The colorful spiral might look a little more engaging with some additional thickness maybe -- looks a little like pened lines right now.
A nice little piece of modern art really. It's striking and there is detail in those rings - although I don't like the harsh lemon centre so much. You've made good use of the technique so I hope you do well.
