i'm not quite sure how this will do but i hope the best. i dont have any high hopes going into this challenge.

This is a beautiful image--well composed and well seen. It is a bit dark--not the shadows, which are "lovely, dark, and deep", but on the flower petals: a bit more brightness could make this strong image really sing. On my monitor, which tends to be too bright already, these petals fall in the "middle grey" range, and a zone or two brighter there would be helpful--but don't lose that wonderful texture in them.
There is also a little bright bit at the leaf/stem joint that could do with a quick "heal" out.
Or, ignore me completely! It is your image & vision.
So, back to the main point: I really like this image! 7
