Thanks for the helpful comments. Dont usually do portraits so the shadows were a suprise to me!! very annoying but good to learn from. yeah there were lots of post-its and selotape, less of them just didnt cover enough ;)

Hmmm... I think a tighter crop from the top could have made this shot very good. I would say a little less pot it notes as well... Seems to cluttered.

The shadow on the background bothers me. Try having the model stand back from the background to reduce shadows.

this was well thought out...there is a waist, bust line and a flower to boot...very good

Very clever idea, nice posing of the model too, don't think she needed the lollipop prop though. The light is a wee bit off, the shadows are quite hard, on-camera flash maybe? I'd try a different method of lighting next time.

I like the dress but don't get the lollypop. I'm trying to figure out why which distracts from the rest of the photo. The shadows are too harsh also.
