Challenge: Free Study 2009-02 (Advanced Editing VII)
Camera: Canon EOS-1D Mark III
Lens: Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L USM
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Date: Feb 7, 2009
Aperture: f/1.4
ISO: 400
Shutter: 1/1600
Galleries: Fashion, Portraiture
Date Uploaded: Feb 12, 2009

Taken with the Canon 85mm f/1.2L lens, and shot at f/1.4, the DOF on this lens can be very slim. You can see by looking at the ground how quickly the focus fades. So quickly that the building behind her almost seems surreal.

The lighting and clarity of this are really great...but the DoF really makes this. Well done!

Nice portrait, like the lighting and the eyes.
The red in the background also gives this shot some interest.

Not exactly a natural pose. Well, perhaps for a model it is! I like it though, but that pose makes me wonder what she is doing.
