 I took the guidelines as loosely as possible, so i photographed the Apple logo on my macbook. just a creative idea, this is my first submission any input is appreciated. I am new to shooting digital because i just now really can afford to have my own cameras.

I like the blue lighting effect, makes the screen look like a continuation of the blue surrounding light.

Even though I think this is creative - I thought taking photographs of tv/computer screens was a no-no on here.

This has more potential than is being illustrated here. First thing is the background...the tan/brown in the upper left, the shadow upper right, the piece of something edge left - all take away from the subject IMO. Also, the white cord - this shot could have been done without that, yes? A circular polarizer (or repositioning the monitor angle) could have knocked down the reflection on the monitor screen.

I do like the blue tones in this - if the entire photo was blue/black/white I think it would have been stronger. All JMO of course. :-) Good luck!
