Every time I see this, I think of my dad, who loved the California beach so much (the Texas gulf coast as well) as he grew up there, and was a body surfer and a lifeguard in Huntington Beach. Love the tiny spot of red with the flat, and the angle of the bird on the wing. This is terrific.
