LOVE IT! I think you captured this topic, I have seen many photos in this challenge so far(135) and I think to many people focus to much on the "silence" part of this pictur than the actual picture outcome it self. Many ppl had good ideas but porly shoot, I am no expert photographer, far from it, this is just my observation.
I think this image captures a sense of personal reflection (the spiritual kind not the water). But I also think that the same effect could have been achieved with a closer crop (perhaps omitting some of the trees).
Great shot! I like this more than most of the other landscape shots, simply because you have someone to 'observe' the silence. One of my favorites in this challenge.
