such a fantastic photo. I think that this completely conveys where I want to be right NOW. If only I could snowboard down those slopes, hit those jumps.....and fall into a crashing death.
You have done two things for me here. One, the picture is excellent. Very well done. Secondly, I did not realize the extent of the climate variances in Iran. I need to work on my world geography more. Thank you for posting.

I have seen professionally taken shots from explorers which were not as good as this - what wonderful scenery! I am a bit surprised that you got such a shot on an ixus - I must revise my opinions!

Absolutely stunning. It doesn't even look real. The mountains look so smooth and yet so jagged. The lighting is perfect. Amazing, amazing shot. And I really get the silent feel too. Great work, I am impressed!
Ah, just a magnificent photo. Honestly, a place like this makes me think of wind sounds. Still, with such a beautiful composition, I'll assume it's a really calm day ;)
4 - Awesome scene - don't get why you didn't tweak it to let it pack more punch and refine the crop too.. The lighting/shadows over the mountains is nice. edit to add: I may have been a fraction harsh with my vote on this for this Challenge - nevertheless, Congratulations.
Front page, if not a winner. I sure hope you didn't climb up here just for the challenge :-) Incredible depth and detail, deliciously soft tones and crisp textures. Love the sun beams. My fave so far.
But for those dark edges in the front and especially black right corner (which IMHO, all should have been cropped out) it would be excellent. With them it's just good.
Gorgeous scene. Very wonderful light. I think this is a good representation of silence. There is nothing more silent than the high country wilderness. (When the wind is not blowing.) My fav in this challenge. Hope it ribbons! 10
