Pretty desperate attempt for an entry, but I was working all week at the Spanish GP in Barcelona and so only had a few minutes to get out of my hole and shoot something! I cropped this to 5 by 4, altered colour and brightness then converted to B/W.

This is a highly original view of this challenge. I like the perspective and the line of the railing as it goes from foreground left to bg right - ending visually with the post and countdown. I'm curious to see it in color - I like the monochrome choice for the challenge.
I really like the b/w in this image. Helps to blend the crowd into one object rather than having individula colors grabbing the eye and feeling busy. Nice shot.
An extra point just for having been at the F1 Grand Prix this weekend. How jealous am I? :) The picture works well because of the solid line of people. Draws the eye right down the row. The "opposites" theme is just okay.
