Never quite sure of the time - whether it's 2pm or 3pm our time this thing goes off but it's 1348, so if it's 2pm, then it's a close call.
Any, I have attempted for two days to get a single tree and have nothing i like. Finally, this came to me last night. I know that it's probably a stretch - a single tree. It's meant to be a total landscape but my goal is to develop my portraiture skills, so I really want feedback on these set of skills. So here we go....

Wow what a cool tree! You did a great job of maintaining detail in the darker parts of the tree and still not significantly blowing out the bright areas in the background.
