Probably won't do well--just such an unusual spot for a tree to grow.
Levels; USM; SFW was all that was done; would have liked to increase the contrast between the tree and the sand.

Nice idea, but the tree really gets lost in the photo. Would a lower angle separate the tree from the background and give it a little more definition.

I think this is an interesting approach to the challenge with good color and focus, but your subject is just a little too good at blending in with its surroundings in this case.

I like the texture of the sandy soil here. The wisp of a tree doesn't really stand out from that background much.
