Glorious image - all the gold and the way the flames wreathe around the ice is beautiful.

I can honestly say that the number of "Fire & Ice" shots in this competition has been relatively obscene, but this is also only the second that I have scored over a 2! Very nicely done, regardless of the predictable topic.

This is by far the best of the shots with ice cubes in them, really too bad so many people had the same idea. Nice colors and interesting shapes. Good Luck.

The colors in this are invigorating -- the blue seems to accent the orangy-yellow wash.

Great photo, good technique and composition. But, I can't help thinking of yellow snow...

Obviously, lots of people went for the fire and ice theme in this competition, but you really pulled it off beautifully. The only thing I would do is clone out a few of those distracting dots here and there, but it looks great as-is. Really great shot.

Tied for the best of the Fire and Ice challenge :-) 7 from me.

Lots of 'Fire and Ice' this week and some of them need to have that something to stan out from the other, this one have that. IMO the depth, focus and composiotn all work together to make this good photo...well done.

This is definately the best interpretation of "fire and ice" I have seen this week. Great lighting and perfect focus. Nice work.

Great angle, detail, exposure, shapes, colors, like everything but the frame which really is distracting to me in this very fine image which I like even thought the subject appears to have been done to death in this challenge doncha just love run on sentences?

One of the better looking fire and ice.

One of the best fire and ice shot - Congrats -

Nice exposure and colors. The background is nice as well - doesn't distract from the image.

I really like the different textures you can see in this shot

Cool, very well done. Fantastic clearity on the ice.

seen a lot of fire and ice submissions so not too original, but this so far is a long way ahead of the rest, superb lighting almost like seeing molton gold, real pro shot.

Nicely done but not very original

Many tried and many failed. You succeeded. Originally gave this an 8 but after revisiting, I'm bumping it up to a 9.

unoriginal idea, but very well executed... best one out of fire-ice comparison... -9

A good idea and a fine picture. However, I shaved points off because the ice looks more like amber than ice.

This is a very cool fire and ice. The best one I have seen yet.

Listening to Jay-Z while I´m looking this photo makes me feel rare, special. Well done. Great color, great ambient. It´s a wonderful capture. --9--

Hi, great colour and composition, but "hot and cold" would be more exactly. (9)

one of the best (of the many) "fire and ice" ones I've seen so far.
