"My" neighborhood Redtailed Hawk, amusing himself on my neighbor's car. He would try to walk up the back windshield, then beat his wings to balance himself as he slid back down, then look at his reflection and repeat, with occasional pauses to see where I was. Eventually I got too close and he took off, but it was very entertaining watching him play.
Best viewed full size unless you have really good eyes ;-)
This is very enjoyable presentation and story to go with it. The photos are sharp and detailed. It must have been enthralling to watch him play like that. Hawks seem so serious and dignified. It's wonderful that you have shown they can be playful too!
Pretty cool that you got to get this many images of him/her along with the other one that you had posted earlier. I like the format you used and the color of the frame is just right.
What a neat situation you found yourself able to capture! Gosh how many times has something unique come along, only to wish I had a camera in my hands! I really like the way you have mounted and displayed your photos. Great shots! :O)
