Per Ecce Signum's request for the PP on this shot. It wasn't a whole lot. I wanted a gritty/grainy feel so I used a b&w film preset in lightroom it is called Ilford Delta 3200, it can be found in flickr's Presetting group's forum, or you can go to This Blog and he is teh one that creates these presets to emulate various films. From there is was a few tonal adjustments in lightroom along with vignetting adjustments and no noise reduction with a bit of sharpening. that it's quick and simple. Thanks for looking!
I have an immediate sense of abandonment. Maybe this is an old house that is now vacant and in disrepair, and the matchstick blinds were the last new thing, thus they are not tattered and worn yet. I like this so much.
